“FEELING LONELY
AND HELPLESS
when not meeting
personal EXPECTATIONS.”
Can exercise properly overcome depression?
We are not sure why doctors are handing out so many pills for depression when most agree that exercise can counteract depression. According to RCTs (Randomized Controlled Trials), exercise is just as effective against depression as an anti-depression medication. However, we have found, by working with students in our mentorship program that most don’t know that EXERCISE works like magic against depression. But be sure to check with your doctor before starting any exercise program. We are going to focus on these two areas of depression and the correct way of exercising to eliminate those feelings.
“Having a
PANIC ATTACK
when one feels that they cannot meet
the EXPECTATIONS
of a particular situation.”
Exercise releases the chemicals in the body that benefit mood and performance. Doing an exercise like jumping rope, running sprints, and any other energetic exercise that you can sustain for 20 minutes or more that gets your heart rate up, is the MAGIC PILL to reduce depression and panic attacks. Studies have shown that high-intensity training 3-5 times a week, 20-60 minutes a day, can give a person the natural chemicals to beat depression.
Does the magic pill also work in group exercise?
High-intensity group classes like Aerobics, Martial Arts, Boxing, Zumba, Rowing, and more can not only release the magic chemicals in our brains that make us happy, but
also help us to integrate into society. Group workout classes are the ultimate Magic pill.
What are the dangers of not exercising?
Not exercising can be as deadly as smoking. When we don’t exercise regularly we feel stressed, worthless, and down, not to mention that it weakens our immune system to the onset of disease. We all know that exercise is good for us, but many don’t realize that by not exercising we are at risk of obesity, heart attack, clogged arteries, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes and certain cancers, including colon, breast, and uterine.
